Rigging & Lifting - IADC DIT
Scope
This course is targeted for new higher employees in high risk industry (especially offshore rigs), that will have in their work site different crane operations, the course will handle the basic information including inspection and types of the lifting equipment and accessories, know what is a lifting plan, and lifting process.
The course will have a brief on manual handling as a part of lifting operations plus a brief on fall protection as most of maintenance workers on offshore rigs for example are elevated by a crane.
